What age can I start waist training at?

A question frequently asked is “How old should you be before you start wearing a corset?” And like most things when it comes to corsetry is that it differs from person to person. Waist training can take a physical and mental toll on a person, so a person’s maturity plays a big role when answering this question. There is no definitive answer to this question but if you were to asked my opinion on it I would recommend waiting until you are at least 18 years old. The human body doesn’t finish developing until you reach your early 20s or late teens and as a general rule of thumb it’s probably best to wait until your bodies fully developed. I’d also recommend that women wait until at least the early 20s before they embark on tight lacing. Remember these are just recommendations and before you start waist training should always consult your doctor, regardless of your age. Hopefully that shines a little light on “What age can I start waist training at?” but if it doesn’t, be sure to contact me via my contact info on my about me page.
